Axfood joins the Forum for Inclusion – a new national initiative together with over 70 companies!

🤝 Now the business community agrees on a clear starting point: young people without a path into working life is not a societal problem, but a potential in which business has a decisive role. – That more young people have the opportunity to enter working life is one of our most important future issues. No single company can solve it on its own. Through the Forum for Inclusion, we can collaborate, share knowledge and scale up initiatives that work, says Monica Längbo, HR Director at Axfood. The initiative is to reduce the exclusion of young people and at the same time strengthen the supply of skills. The goal is to mobilize 1,000 companies and create paths to work and study for 100,000 young people in ten years. For Axfood, this is an important part of the work towards becoming Sweden’s most inclusive food player by 2030. Among other things, we offer paid SAO jobs for students in grade 8 in vulnerable areas, where they work two hours a week for a year in parallel with school.
