The launch of a communication campaign about the role of drivers and the establishment of an internal training program for drivers are two of the new initiatives that Dagrofa Foodservice has recently invested in. The reason is that Dagrofa Foodservice has a strategic growth ambition in the period 2025-2027 to capture 2,000 new customers who need food delivered from one of the company’s logistics terminals in either Ishøj, Middelfart, Aalborg or Thisted. Therefore, it is essential to upgrade the driver front. This is what Michael Christensen, CEO of Dagrofa Foodservice, one of Denmark’s largest food wholesalers, says: “With our Gro’27 strategy, we will win over a lot of local eateries over the next few years and also very preferably more nationwide restaurant chains. We will only succeed if we deliver the goods, so to speak. I believe that our drivers in this context are absolutely central to our overall chances of success.”
